Gaslighting: The Psychology of Shaping Another’s Reality

“But I don’t want to go among mad people,” Alice remarked.
“Oh, you can’t help that,” said the Cat: “we’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad.”
“How do you know I’m mad?” said Alice.
“You must be,” said the Cat, “or you wouldn’t have come here.”

Lewis Carroll, “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland”

We are living in a world where the degree of disinformation and outright lying has reached such a state of affairs that, possibly for the first time ever, we see the majority of the western world starting to question their own and surrounding level of sanity. The increasing frenzied distrust in everything “authoritative” mixed with the desperate incredulity that “everybody couldn’t possibly be in on it!” is slowly rocking many back and forth into a tighter and tighter straight jacket. “Question everything” has become the new motto, but are we capable of answering those questions?

Presently the answer is a resounding no.

The social behaviourist sick joke of having made everyone obsessed with toilet paper of all things during the start of what was believed to be a time of crisis, is an example of how much control they have over that red button labelled “commence initiation of level 4 mass panic”.

And can the people be blamed? After all, if we are being lied to, how can we possibly rally together and point the finger at the root of this tyranny, aren’t we at the point where it is everywhere?

As Goebbels infamously stated,

If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State [under fascism].”

And here we find ourselves today, at the brink of fascism. However, we have to first agree to forfeit our civil rights as a collective before fascism can completely dominate. That is, the big lie can only succeed if the majority fails to call it out, for if the majority were to recognise it for what it is, it would truly hold no power.

The Battle for Your Mind

Politicians, Priests, and psychiatrists often face the same problem: how to find the most rapid and permanent means of changing a man’s belief…The problem of the doctor and his nervously ill patient, and that of the religious leader who sets out to gain and hold new converts, has now become the problem of whole groups of nations, who wish not only to confirm certain political beliefs within their boundaries, but to proselytize the outside world.

William Sargant, “Battle of the Mind”

It had been commonly thought in the past, and not without basis, that tyranny could only exist on the condition that the people were kept illiterate and ignorant of their oppression. To recognise that one was “oppressed” meant they must first have an idea of what was “freedom”, and if one were allowed the “privilege” to learn how to read, this discovery was inevitable.

If education of the masses could turn the majority of a population literate, it was thought that the higher ideas, the sort of “dangerous ideas” that Mustapha Mond for instance expresses in “The Brave New World”, would quickly organise the masses and revolution against their “controllers” would be inevitable. In other words, knowledge is freedom, and you cannot enslave those who learn how to “think”.

However, it hasn’t exactly played out that way has it?

The greater majority of us are free to read whatever we wish to, in terms of the once “forbidden books”, such as those listed by The Index Librorum Prohibitorum[1]. We can read any of the writings that were banned in “The Brave New World”, notably the works of Shakespeare which were named as absolutely dangerous forms of “knowledge”.

We are now very much free to “educate” ourselves on the very “ideas” that were recognised by tyrants of the past as the “antidote” to a life of slavery. And yet, today, the majority choose not to…

It is recognised, albeit superficially, that who controls the past, controls the present and thereby the future. George Orwell’s book “1984”, hammers this as the essential feature that allows the Big Brother apparatus to maintain absolute control over fear, perception and loyalty to the Party cause, and yet despite its popularity, there still remains a lack of interest in actually informing oneself about the past.

What does it matter anyway, if the past is controlled and rewritten to suit the present? As the Big Brother interrogator O’Brien states to Winston, “We, the Party, control all records, and we control all memories. Then we control the past, do we not? [And thus, are free to rewrite it as we choose…]”

Of course, we are not in the same situation as Winston…we are much better off. We can study and learn about the “past” if we so desire, unfortunately, it is a choice that many take for granted.

In fact, many are probably not fully aware that presently there is a battle waging for who will “control the past” in a manner that is closely resembling a form of “memory wipe”.

William Sargant was a British psychiatrist and, one could say, effectively the Father of “mind control” in the West, with connections to British Intelligence and the Tavistock Institute, which would influence the CIA and American military via the program MK Ultra. Sargant was also an advisor for Ewen Cameron’s LSD “blank slate” work at McGill University, funded by the CIA.

Sargant accounts for his reason in studying and using forms of “mind control” on his patients, which were primarily British soldiers that were sent back from the battlefield during WWII with various forms of “psychosis”, as the only way to rehabilitate extreme forms of PTSD.

The other reason, was because the Soviets had apparently become “experts” in the field, and out of a need for national security, the British would thus in turn have to become experts as well…as a matter of self-defence of course.

The work of Ivan Pavlov, a Russian physiologist, had succeeded in producing some disturbingly interesting insights into four primary forms of nervous systems in dogs, that were combinations of inhibitory and excitatory temperaments; “strong excitatory”, “balanced”, “passive” and “calm imperturbable”. Pavlov found that depending on the category of nervous system temperament the dog had, this in turn would dictate the form of “conditioning” that would work best to “reprogram behaviour”. The relevance to “human conditioning” was not lost on anyone.

It was feared in the West, that such techniques would not only be used against their soldiers to invoke free-flowing uninhibited confessions to the enemy but that these soldiers could be sent back to their home countries, as zombified assassins and spies that could be set off with a simple code word. At least, these were the thriller stories and movies that were pumped into the population. How horrific indeed! That the enemy could apparently enter what was thought the only sacred ground to be our own…our very “minds”!

However, for those who were actually leading the field in mind control research, such as William Sargant, it was understood that this was not exactly how mind control worked.

For one thing, the issue of “free will” was getting in the way.

No matter the length or degree of electro-shock, insulin “therapy”, tranquilizer cocktails, induced comas, sleep deprivation, starvation etc induced, it was discovered that if the subject had a “strong conviction” and “strong belief” in something, this could not be simply erased, it could not be written over with any arbitrary thing. Rather, the subject would have to have the illusion that their “conditioning” was in fact a “choice”. This was an extremely challenging task, and long term conversions (months to years) were rare.

However, Sargant saw an opening. It was understood that one could not create a new individual from scratch, however, with the right conditioning that was meant to lead to a physical breakdown using abnormal stress (effectively a reboot of the nervous system), one could increase the “suggestibility” markedly in their subjects.

Sargant wrote in his “Battle of the Mind”: “Pavlov’s clinical descriptions of the ‘experimental neuroses’ which he could induce in dogs proved, in fact, to have a close correspondence with those war-neuroses which we were investigating at the time.”

In addition, Sargant found that a falsely implanted memory could help induce abnormal stress leading to emotional exhaustion and physical breakdown to invoke “suggestibility”. That is, one didn’t even need to have a “real stress” but an “imagined stress” would work just as effectively.

Sargant goes on to state in his book:

“It is not surprising that the ordinary person, in general, is much more easily indoctrinated than the abnormal…A person is considered ‘ordinary’ or ‘normal’ by the community simply because he accepts most of its social standards and behavioural patterns; which means, in fact, that he is susceptible to suggestion and has been persuaded to go with the majority on most ordinary or extraordinary occasions.”

Sargant then goes over the phenomenon of the London Blitz, which was an eight month period of heavy bombing of London during WWII. During this period, in order to cope and stay “sane”, people rapidly became accustomed to the idea that their neighbours could be and were buried alive in bombed houses around them. The thought was “If I can’t do anything about it what use is it that I trouble myself over it?” The best “coping” was thus found to be those who accepted the new “environment” and just focused on “surviving”, and did not try to resist it.

Sargant remarks that it is this “adaptability” to a changing environment which is part of the “survival” instinct and is very strong in the “healthy” and “normal” individual who can learn to cope and thus continues to be “functional” despite an ever changing environment.

It was thus our deeply programmed “survival instinct” that was found to be the key to the suggestibility of our minds. That the best “survivors” made for the best “brain-washing” in a sense.

Sargant quotes Hecker’s work, who was studying the dancing mania phenomenon that occurred during the Black Death, where Hecker observed that heightened suggestibility had the capability to cause a person to “embrace with equal force, reason and folly, good and evil, diminish the praise of virtue as well as the criminality of vice.”

And that such a state of mind was likened to the first efforts of the infant mind “this instinct of imitation when it exists in its highest degree, is also united a loss of all power over the will, which occurs as soon as the impression on the senses has become firmly established, producing a condition like that of small animals when they are fascinated by the look of a serpent.

I wonder if Sargant imagined himself the serpent…

Sargant does finally admit: “This does not mean that all persons can be genuinely indoctrinated by such means. Some will give only temporary submission to the demands made on them, and fight again when strength of body and mind returns. Others are saved by the supervention of madness. Or the will to resist may give way, but not the intellect itself.”

But he comforts himself as a response to this stubborn resistance that “As mentioned in a previous context, the stake, the gallows, the firing squad, the prison, or the madhouse, are usually available for the failures.”

How to Resist the Deconstruction of Your Mind

He whom the gods wish to destroy, they first of all drive mad.

Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, “The Masque of Pandora”

For those who have not seen the 1944 psychological thriller “Gaslight” directed by George Cukor, I would highly recommend you do so since there is an invaluable lesson contained within, that is especially applicable to what I suspect many of us are experiencing nowadays.

The story starts with a 14 year old Paula (played by Ingrid Bergman) who is being taken to Italy after her Aunt Alice Alquist, a famous opera singer and caretaker of Paula, is found murdered in her home in London. Paula is the one who found the body, and horror stricken is never her old self again. Her Aunt was the only family Paula had left in her life. The decision is made to send her away from London to Italy to continue her studies to become a world-renowned opera singer like her Aunt Alice.

Years go by, Paula lives a very sheltered life and a heavy somberness is always present within her, she can never seem to feel any kind of happiness. During her singing studies she meets a mysterious man (her piano accompanist during her lessons) and falls deeply in love with him. However, she knows hardly anything about the man named Gregory.

Paula agrees to marry Gregory after a two week romance and is quickly convinced to move back into her Aunt’s house in London that was left abandoned all these years. As soon as she enters the house, the haunting of the night of the murder revisits her and she is consumed with panic and fear. Gregory tries to calm her and talks about the house needing just a little bit of air and sun, and then Paula comes across a letter written to her Aunt from a Sergis Bauer which confirms that he was in contact with Alice just a few days before her murder. At this finding, Gregory becomes bizarrely agitated and grabs the letter from Paula. He quickly tries to justify his anger blaming the letter for upsetting her. Gregory then decides to lock all of her Aunt’s belongings in the attic, to apparently spare Paula any further anguish.

It is at this point that Gregory starts to change his behaviour dramatically. Always under the pretext for “Paula’s sake”, everything that is considered “upsetting” to Paula must be removed from her presence. And thus quickly the house is turned into a form of prison. Paula is told it is for her best not to leave the house unaccompanied, not to have visitors and that self-isolation is the best remedy for her “anxieties” which are getting worst. Paula is never strictly forbidden at the beginning but rather is told that she should obey these restrictions for her own good.

Before a walk, he gives as a gift a beautiful heirloom brooch that belonged to his mother. Because the pin needs replacing, he instructs Paula to keep it in her handbag, and then says rather out of context, “Don’t forget where you put it now Paula, I don’t want you losing it.” Paula remarks thinking the warning absurd, “Of course I won’t forget!” When they return from their walk, Gregory asks for the brooch, Paula searches in her handbag but it is not there.

It continues on like this, with Gregory giving warnings and reminders, seemingly to help Paula with her “forgetfulness” and “anxieties”. Paula starts to question her own judgement and sanity as these events become more and more frequent. She has no one else to talk to but Gregory, who is the only witness to these apparent mishaps. It gets to a point where completely nonsensical behaviour is being attributed to Paula by Gregory. A painting is found missing on the wall one night. Gregory talks to Paula like she is a 5 year child and asks her to put it back. Paula insists she does not know who took it down. After her persistent passionate insistence that it was not her, she walks up the stairs almost like she were in a dream state and pulls the painting from behind a statue. Gregory asks why she lied, but Paula insists that she only thought to look there because that is where it was found the last two times this occurred.

For weeks now, Paula thinks she has been seeing things, the gas lights of the house dimming for no reason, she also hears footsteps above her bedroom. No one else seems to take notice. Paula is also told by Gregory that he found out that her mother, who passed away when she was very young, had actually gone insane and died in an asylum.

Despite Paula being reduced to a condition of an ongoing stupor, she decides one night to make a stand and regain control over her life. Paula is invited, by one of her Aunt Alice’s close friends Lady Dalroy, to attend a high society evening with musical performances. Recall that Paula’s life gravitated around music before her encounter with Gregory. Music was her life. Paula gets magnificently dressed up for the evening and on her way out tells Gregory that she is going to this event. Gregory tries to convince her that she is not well enough to attend such a social gathering, when Paula calmly insists that she is going and that this woman was a dear friend of her Aunt, Gregory answers that he refuses to accompany her (in those days that was a big deal). Paula accepts this and walks with a solid dignity, undeterred towards the horse carriage. In a very telling scene, Gregory is left momentarily by himself and panic stricken, his eyes bulging he snaps his cigar case shut and runs after Paula. He laughingly calls to her, “Paula, you did not think I was serious? I had no idea that this party meant so much to you. Wait, I will get ready.” As he is getting ready in front of the mirror, a devilish smirk appears.

Paula and Gregory show up to Lady Dalroy’s house late, the pianist is in the middle of the 1st movement of Beethoven’s Piano Sonata #8 in C minor. They quickly are escorted to two empty seats. Paula is immediately immersed in the piece, and Gregory can see his control is slipping. After only a few minutes, he goes to look at his pocket watch but it is not in his pocket. He whispers into Paula’s ear, “My watch is missing”. Immediately, Paula looks like she is going to be sick. Gregory takes her handbag and Paula looks in horror as he pulls out his pocket watch, insinuating that Paula had put it there. She immediately starts losing control and has a very public emotional breakdown. Gregory takes her away, as he remarks to Lady Dalroy that this is why he didn’t want Paula coming in the first place.

When they arrive home, Paula has by now completely succumbed to the thought that she is indeed completely insane. Gregory says that it would be best if they go away somewhere for an indefinite period of time. We later find out that Gregory is intending on committing her to an asylum. Paula agrees to leave London with Gregory and leaves her fate entirely in his hands.

In the case of Paula it is clear. She has been suspecting that Gregory has something to do with her “situation” but he has very artfully created an environment where Paula herself doubts whether this is a matter of unfathomable villainy or whether she is indeed going mad.

It is rather because she is not mad that she doubts herself, because there is seemingly no reason for why Gregory would put so much time and energy into making it look like she were mad, or at least so it first appears. But what if the purpose to her believing in her madness was simply a matter of who is in control?

Paula almost succeeds in gaining the upper-hand in this power-struggle, the evening she decided to go out on her own no matter what Gregory insisted was in her best interest. If she would have held her ground at Lady Dalroy’s house and simply replied, “I have no idea why your stupid watch ended up in my handbag and I could care less. Now stop interrupting this performance, you are making a scene!” Gregory’s spell would have been broken as simple as that. If he were to complain to others about the situation, they would also respond, “Who cares man, why are you so obsessed about your damn watch?”

We find ourselves today in a very similar situation to Paula. And the voice of Gregory is represented by the narrative of false news and the apocalyptic social behaviourist programming in our forms of entertainment. The things most people voluntarily subject themselves to on a daily, if not hourly, basis. Socially conditioning them, like a pack of salivating Pavlovian dogs, to think it is just a matter of time before the world ends and with a ring of their master’s bell…be at each other’s throats.

Paula ends up being saved in the end by a man named Joseph Cotten (a detective), who took notice and quickly discerned that something was amiss. In the end Gregory is arrested. It is revealed that Gregory is in fact Sergis Bauer. That he killed Alice Alquist and that he has returned to the scene of the crime after all these years in search for the famous jewels of the opera singer. The jewels were in fact rather worthless from the standpoint that they were too famous to be sold, however, Gregory never intended on selling these jewels but rather had become obsessed with the desire to merely possess them.

That is, it is Gregory who has been entirely mad all this time.

A Gregory is absolutely dangerous. He would have been the end of Paula if nothing had intervened. However, the power that Gregory held was conditional to the degree that Paula allowed it to control her. Paula’s extreme deconstruction was thus entirely dependent on her choice to let the voice of Gregory in. That is, a Gregory is only dangerous if we allow ourselves to sleep walk into the nightmare he has constructed for us.

“When I use a word,” Humpty Dumpty said in rather a scornful tone,
“it means just what I choose it to mean — neither more nor less.”
“The question is,” said Alice, “whether you can make words mean so many different things.”
“The question is,” said Humpty Dumpty, “which is to be master – – that’s all.”

Gold Slammed Early Asia In Trade With China Trade Then Inflation

By Jeffrey P. Snider|August 9th, 2021|BondsCurrenciesEconomyFederal Reserve/Monetary PolicyMarkets

This one wasn’t nearly so perfect as the scramble for collateral had been a few Tuesdays ago. Last night’s, however, did have a sizable, visible contribution from the gold marketplace. That’s a significant tell even if it didn’t necessarily correlate by the minute with T-bills and other collateral numbers.

In this instance if only because the gold “slam”, which was enormous, took place the at very nearly the earliest instance it possibly could have. T-bills joined in the scramble once they could. Sunday night trading:

Or, in Asian terms, Monday morning in China. There hadn’t been any major economic news released at the time gold crashed. The CPI/PPI estimates which came out weren’t published until 930am Beijing, or 930pm EDT.

Instead, if economic accounts were considered in collateral chains as risk aversion (growth “scare”) acting on dealers (shortened collateral multiplier), then what happened Sunday night/Monday morning would’ve been the export and import estimates China’s General Administration of Customs had reported early on Saturday morning local time.

It didn’t really matter either way, as both sets inflation as well as global trade each suggested the same thing. And it was, rather is, what’s been at the forefront of upsetting the delicate reflationary balance and tipping it back into the non-inflationary direction closing in on six months.

What if the global economy’s rebound from last year’s deep recession has already seen its best days? Since the “best” of the rebound hasn’t actually been all that good, not in the context of either that contraction or past history, then this raises an entirely uncomfortable and concerning array of problems only beginning with some regional renewal of COVID mania.

The bland statistics don’t really tell the story. Beginning with outbound trade, exports leaving China were thought to have been worth $282.7 billion in US$s during July 2021. This was 19.3% more than exports had totaled during July 2020, but more importantly only 28% better than what had been shipped out back in July 2019.

The 2-year change at an annual rate dropping to around 13% last month.

It’s not disastrous or anything other than hugely disappointing; where is the promised unambiguous upside? More to the current relevant point, the peak statistical change was registered, for China exports, all the way back in December last year; thus, July another month without meaningful acceleration, or stuck at basically the same as the past seven-year stretch (above) of not nearly enough.

Not enough adds much to these growing concerns about 2021 and beyond.

As do China’s imports which, in the end, may mean more insofar as the global economy downstream from them is concerned. Again, the annual rate starts out impressive; rising 28% year-over-year to $226.1 billion in US$s. The 2-year increase, at an annual rate, not quite 13% which, as you can see below, is way below what rate China “should” be demanding of the resource-rich economic followers in a real recovery scenario.

This is not a recovery even at its best rate, the same like exports that goes back into last December. Having indicated a possible topping out both sides of Chinese trade, the idea was further supported by the later Monday morning (Beijing time) release of the price data while gold was recovering.

Inflation Hysteria hasn’t quite cooled too much even as so much of any potential for sustained real inflation (or any outside the US goods economy) depends upon the real state of China’s system. In terms of consumer prices, beginning there, the rate of increase for the Chinese basket has slowed for each of the past two months after having peaked back in May (a repeating occurrence).

Consumer prices rose only 1% year-over-year, already relieving us of any necessity for a 2-year comparison. This was among the lowest in the past decade plus, meaning that price behavior in China joins the vast majority of price behaviors around the world which look nothing like their American counterparts (the US CPI and others true outliers).

Even producer prices in China are far less, potentially peaking, too. While the PPI did rise 9% year-over-year in July, it hasn’t accelerated since May (when the rate was also 9%). Furthermore, both the PPI and factory gate indices were heavily influenced by base effects; much more than in either the United States or Europe.

Two-year changes in them (at annual rates) weren’t even equivalent to 2018’s previous peak rates (before Euro$ #4 slammed them downward). And now it is beginning to look like 2021’s may have also peaked:

The picture which is consistently emerging from China is otherwise pretty clear even if unwelcome and contradictory to the inflation/global money flood narratives. The US economy may, in some specific parts, appear to be hot even overboiling with inflation potential.

That potential, however, is actually depending upon the rest of the global economy – beginning with China – for what could last beyond the influence of artificial, temporary factors.

And if the global rebound’s best days are already in the past, no wonder anyone paying close attention might look ahead with increasing angst. If so, it would make perfect sense how they have to force more monetary disruption in the meantime while repositioning for rising more emerging downside risks.

America must honor our doctors & nurses – & realize that they were thrown to the wolves

Charles Rixey, MA, MBA

In Volume I of this miniseries, I sought to illuminate what the COVID-19 outbreak & lockdown was like, through the eyes of the residents of the city. The stunning scale of the Xi Xinping-directed central government suppression of virtually all information and contact out of that city of 11 million people was just as brutal as the lockdown measures themselves.

Here, my purpose is once again to shed light upon the superhuman courage and resilience of those whose voices were lost – the difference, however, is that in America the voices weren’t silenced through government suppression.

They were lost in the horrific scale of the pandemic itself.

Innocence Lost

To all the people I didn’t save – one nurse’s message

Col. Dave Grossman popularized the ‘Categories of People’ metaphor about Sheep, Sheepdogs & Wolves in his book On Combat, although it reached broader audiences from its appearance in American Sniper.

Unlike animals, our personalities aren’t set in stone; however, most of the time our societies are filled with sheep and a tiny fraction of wolves, and equilibrium is maintained with an even smaller share of sheepdogs.

Doctors & nurses aren’t trained for combat, of course, but the COVID-19 pandemic was a seminal moment for millions of sheep; even though most health care workers [just like with troops] weren’t sheepdogs, all of them were destined to face wolves.

Facing wolves means facing death, and it is the willingness to do so for the sake of the sheep that separates the sheepdogs from the rest of the flock. Being willing to kill is hard, but seeing death in any form impacts us – it represents the antithesis of our existence. Col. Grossman’s sequel, On Killing, is about the impact death & killing have on those who come face to face with it; as the video above demonstrated, the scars run deep.

(α) The Valley of the Shadow of Death

COVID-19 emerged in late 2019, but even as it quickly spread beyond the city of Wuhan, there was a sense of surreal trust that it follow the course of other epidemics and come under control before large-scale troubles could appear. After all, the boy had cried wolf before, when a novel H1N1 flu strain emerged in early 2009, and despite infecting 1 billion people the virus itself was weaker than most annually recurring strains.

COVID-19’s lethality wasn’t immediately clear, because even though it was causing severe illness in a lot of cases, the first ‘official’ death didn’t happen until mid-January. In the following week, however, doctors in Wuhan discovered several horrifying aspects of the disease:

1) It was spreading human-to-human [finally confirmed] 2) The long course of the disease led to large numbers of people sitting on ventilators for weeks before they succumbed 3) The virus was impacting several different types of tissue all across the body 4) It was spreading like wildfire even at Jinyintan Hospital, which was the expert center for highly infectious diseases.

No one knew that the worst aspects of the disease hadn’t even been discovered yet; so, when COVID-19 hit New York City in full force in mid-March, even the most experienced doctors and nurses were caught off guard by the pandemic’s intensity. For everyone else, pictures say a thousand words:

(β) I Will Fear No Evil

The ‘worst aspects’ I hinted at above were decisive in allowing the SARS-CoV-2 virus to fuel a global pandemic that is entering its 4th full wave here in the United States. Before I turn back to the sheepdogs, however, I must provide context for the wolves that they faced.

I was inspired to write this article because of the similarities between the circumstances of this unexpected tragedy and events from my own personal experience [discussed further down]; however [by horrible coincidence], this topic intersects with one of the two major areas of research I’ve focused on as a member of the investigative group DRASTIC. Our work centers on the still-unknown origins of the COVID-19 pandemic, and my two particular issues have been the cover-up of the early outbreak in Wuhan & the deliberate scientific censorship meant to prevent such research. Dr. Fauci helped lead that push for censorship, and the results [intended or not] included the delayed propagation of key information, especially early in the pandemic. [emphasis added]

The worst symptom of COVID-19: Isolating us in our darkest hours

The first realization was that COVID-19 was spreading asymptomatically [1st discussed c. 1/23, but confirmed a month later:

Despite this confirmation, I flew to and from Europe [via London, Prague & Madrid] while only filling out 1 info form and 1 temperature check [after landing back in Dallas]. I left Spain the day before Italy closed its borders. It also meant that drs & nurses across the US were barely protected from the virus they’d been preparing for. Most of the precautions announced and implemented by the European Union while I was in Prague weren’t being implemented yet – in short, everybody was looking for a virus without actually preventing much spread.

There’s more – Why did the world’s leading virologists/microbiologists and top American/UK officials refrain from releasing their knowledge of the existence of the FCS when they first learned of it? [Emphasis added]

The FCS is an additional method that the SARS-CoV-2 viral genome contained, in addition to its known affinity for human ACE2 cell receptors. The FCS is so good at increasing pathogenicity that it’s the specific insertion typically added by labs worldwide for Gain-of-Function experiments.

What possible justification could there have been to ignore the FCS, other than limit discussion during the early phase of their censorship? And what effect might that have had on our doctors’ ability to characterize the virus?

cjvance @cjvance@CharlesRixey @janieyaya @btysonmd @BasedCoco @w_mccairn I admit, in the spring of 2020, when the first emergency medicine docs were in critical care because of coronavirus, that news quickly made the rounds, and in fear I went to the hospital restroom and vomited. A lot. And then went back to work. 4/August 9th 20211 Likecjvance @cjvance@CharlesRixey @janieyaya @btysonmd @BasedCoco @w_mccairn I say this not asking for sympathy, but more expressing understanding for all of the people in the healthcare system who suddenly realized they were in over their heads and wanted out. But a fire fighter doesn’t leave a burning house. 5/August 9th 20211 Likecjvance @cjvance@CharlesRixey @janieyaya @btysonmd @BasedCoco @w_mccairn Now it is clear to me we have a totally different problem on our hands. There’s a problem of the disruption of society, of lack of trust in the medical system… we as a country have a paranoid focus on fear, rather than a focus on becoming our best selves. 6/August 9th 20213 Likes

One of the worst developments of the pandemic is the evaporation of public trust in scientists [see Edifice Wrecks]. My research has shown me nothing that would help heal that divide.

To summarize: Dr. Fauci, Pres. Science Advisor K. Droegemeier and the world’s leading coronavirus researchers remained silent for weeks [late Jan-mid-Feb] after confirming the historically powerful binding ability of the SARS-CoV-2 virus; concurrently, they published a dozen letters and articles rejecting an artificial origin during the crucial period when COVID-19 became a global pandemic. 6 weeks later, some NYC doctors/nurses were still taping garbage bags on themselves to reduce contamination, and cleaning/reusing worn surgical masks. That’s how our frontline workers were protected when the wolves knocked on the door. [Emphasis added]

When the Frontline is the Homefront

Last September I decided to make a projection of what I thought was likely to happen in the winter wave; on May 1st, my predicted total death count for the US was ~4 tenths of a percent off [about 2000], 207 days later. Near the end of the article, I wrote that I hoped my projection would be wrong, because if it turned out to be right then it would just further prove that our NPI strategies were wrong.

They were.

A dad holding his newborn daughter. The birth was induced 2 weeks early, to ensure that he would get to see her before he died

Remember: the main difference between the sheep and the sheepdog is that the sheep will run to the sheepdog, while the sheepdog will run to the wolf. Last year, hundreds of thousands of people chose to be sheepdogs, and what they faced will soon become the worst loss of American life, ever – more than both sides of the US Civil War combined.

They witnessed death on a scale beyond what I can fathom – there were multiple 48-hour stretches this winter that approached the total of all American troops killed in Operation Iraqi Freedom during 7 years of war. In a majority of deaths, doctors were restricted to a narrow of treatment options even though precisely the opposite stance was called for. They watched critical patient after critical patient weaken until even the ventilators couldn’t save them. They endured the brief encounters with their families, sometimes even sleeping in tents outside their homes to keep their families safe. In the beginning they had no masks or gloves, and later watched many of their friends and fellow sheepdogs become sick and die themselves. Today, there are even fewer of them, and in the last two weeks they’ve been flooded by a sudden wave that’s still growing exponentially.

They’ve suffered the impact of the vaccination battle, and this week are beginning to understand that the vaccine that helped them return to a semblance of normal is being overwhelmed by the sheer volume of virus produced by the δ variant – right as the storms clouds roll in.

(γ) For You are with Me – οτι συ μετ εμου

ἐὰν γὰρ καὶ πορευθῶ ἐν μέσῳ σκιᾶς θανάτου οὐ φοβηθήσομαι κακά ὅτι σὺμετ᾽ ἐμοῦ*

*Psalm 23:4 [tattooed on my left forearm in Κοινη (ancient) Greek]
“Yea, though I walk through the Valley of the Shadow of Death, I will fear no evil – for you are with me”

In 2005, I encountered wolves for the first time, and that changed me even though I didn’t realize it at the time. I didn’t even realize I had scars for almost a decade, but eventually the nightmares became memories again. Only in 2018 did I learn that the last portion of that verse is the most important. No one should have to walk through this pandemic isolated, but that is exactly what our Heroes have endured.

My hope is that the doctors and nurses who fought against COVID-19 won’t have to wait 13 years to learn that the scars rarely come from the battles they’ve fought; it’s the sheep they couldn’t save that hurt the worst.

Americans must take a step back and pause for a moment, and consider that our medical workers endured the deaths of more than 617,000, people – while saving millions of us. They rarely saw their own families while fighting daily to keep other families intact, and now, they’re facing the most dangerous variant with fewer fellow drs. & nurses. In the 1st half of 2020, it was easy to find home-made ‘Thank You’ signs and supportive FaceBook posts, but today there is mostly silence. We cannot wait until we pass by a nurse out in town to thank them, because once again they barely have enough time to see their family. We must radically change how we pay, comfort and supply them.

Why? Because no matter how badly the wolves wounded them before, the sheepdogs will always go back into the fray when another wolf approaches. I refuse to sit silently while our leadership is actively throwing them to the wolves.

I can attest that what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.

Most sheepdogs would agree , but that wisdom is misleading. I’m stronger than I used to be, but I wouldn’t wish that lesson on anyone else – because the wounds are always deep, and the scars never truly heal. You must not forget those who are sacrificing on your behalf as you read this today, because they won’t forget.

Econophysics2020 Addendum

Lieutenant Colonel Grossman’s book should be required reading in every American high school.

“Should be” but won’t because American high schools are not about education.

Some Grossman quotes:

“Bruno Bettelheim, a survivor of the Nazi death camps, argues that the root of our failure to deal with violence lies in our refusal to face up to it. We deny our fascination with the “dark beauty of violence,” and we condemn aggression and repress it rather than look at it squarely and try to understand and control it.”

“The Israelis have consistently refused to put women in combat since their experiences in 1948. I have been told by several Israeli officers that this is because in 1948 they experienced recurring incidences of uncontrolled violence among male Israeli soldiers who had had their female combatants killed or injured in combat, and because the Arabs were extremely reluctant to surrender to women.”

“A tremendous volume of research indicates that the primary factor that motivates a soldier to do the things that no sane man wants to do in combat (that is, killing and dying) is not the force of self-preservation but a powerful sense of accountability to his comrades on the battlefield.”

“Robert Heinlein once wrote that fulfillment in life involved “loving a good woman and killing a bad man.”

Grossman on Sheepdogs

“Look at what happened after September 11, 2001 when the wolf pounded hard on the door. Remember how America, more than ever before, felt differently about their law enforcement officers and military personnel? Remember how many times you heard the word hero?

“Understand that there is nothing morally superior about being a sheepdog; it is just what you choose to be. Also understand that a sheepdog is a funny critter: He is always sniffing around out on the perimeter, checking the breeze, barking at things that go bump in the night, and yearning for a righteous battle. That is, the young sheepdogs yearn for a righteous battle. The old sheepdogs are a little older and wiser, but they move to the sound of the guns when needed right along with the young ones.

“Here is how the sheep and the sheepdog think differently. The sheep pretend the wolf will never come, but the sheepdog lives for that day. After the attacks on September 11, 2001, most of the sheep, that is, most citizens in America said, “Thank God I wasn’t on one of those planes.” The sheepdogs, the warriors, said, “Dear God, I wish I could have been on one of those planes. Maybe I could have made a difference.” When you are truly transformed into a warrior and have truly invested yourself into warriorhood, you want to be there. You want to be able to make a difference.

“There is nothing morally superior about the sheepdog, the warrior, but he does have one real advantage. Only one. And that is that he is able to survive and thrive in an environment that destroys 98 percent of the population. There was research conducted a few years ago with individuals convicted of violent crimes. These cons were in prison for serious, predatory crimes of violence: assaults, murders and killing law enforcement officers. The vast majority said that they specifically targeted victims by body language: slumped walk, passive behavior and lack of awareness. They chose their victims like big cats do in Africa, when they select one out of the herd that is least able to protect itself.

“Some people may be destined to be sheep and others might be genetically primed to be wolves or sheepdogs. But I believe that most people can choose which one they want to be, and I’m proud to say that more and more Americans are choosing to become sheepdogs.”

Say Her Name: Ashli Babbitt

Judicial Watch: New Documents reveal the DC Office of the Chief Medical Examiner Submitted a Request to Cremate Ashli Babbitt Two Days after Gaining Custody of Her Body

(Washington, DC) Judicial Watch announced today that it received 1160 pages of documents from Washington, DC’s Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) related to Air Force veteran and San Diego native Ashli Babbitt. These new documents reveal that OCME submitted a request for permission to cremate Babbitt only two days after taking custody of her body and that ‘due to the “high profile nature” of Babbitt’s case, Deputy Chief Medical Examiner Francisco Diaz requested that a secure electronic file with limited access be created for Babbitt’s records.

Additionally, Babbitt’s fingerprints were emailed to a person supposedly working for the DC government, which resulted in Microsoft “undeliverable” messages written in Chinese characters being returned.

Babbitt was shot and killed by an unidentified law enforcement officer as she attempted to climb through a broken interior window in the Capitol Building, located outside the Speaker’s Lobby off the House Floor during the January 6 disturbance. She was unarmed. At the time of the shooting, several officers reportedly can be seen in videos, standing in the crowd of protestors in which Babbitt was present.

The records were obtained in response to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit concerning two FOIA requests submitted by Judicial Watch on April 8, 2021 to the Metropolitan Police Department and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for records related to Babbitt’s death (Judicial Watch v. The District of Columbia (No. 2021 CA 001710 B)).

The newly obtained records reveal:

  • On January 8, 2021, at 7:13 p.m., an application to cremate the body of Babbitt is labeled “completed successfully.” Copies of the permit are sent to OCME officials Kimberli Hall and SaVern Fripp, as well as Melinda Smith, Jennifer Love, Lisa Tabron, Jeanette Belle, and Perlieshia Gales.
  • In a January 6, 2021, email sent at 9:48 p.m. from OCME official Denise Lyles to medical examiner Francisco Diaz, the subject line is, “Case #21-00106 ID Confirmed.” [Case 21-00106 was Ashli Babbitt’s file number.]
  • On January 6, 2021, at 9:43 p.m., Lyles emails OCME official Dr. Jennifer Love an attachment with the message, “I am updating the information we received from IAD [Internal Affairs Division] re the confirmed ID for OCME Case #21-00106 [Ashli Babbitt’s case]. These are the prints that returned from the FBI, that the detectives from IAD provided. I dropped them in the e-case file. Their names are noted below.”

Lyles appears to have forwarded the file after having received it at 9:33 p.m. on January 6 from someone (whose name is redacted) within the Prince George’s County, MD, Police Criminal Investigation Division, assigned to the “Homicide Unit – FBI/Cross Border Task Force.” The file had been sent to that person at 9:30 p.m. on January 6 from someone with the email address efcon@gmw00001.str0.ngi.cjis.

  • On January 6, 2021, at 7:42 p.m., OCME official Jamie Spann emailed a scanned file called “21-00106 FBI Submission Form” to Grant Greenwalt, Manager of the Crime Scenes Sciences unit of the DC Department of Forensic Sciences, as well as someone with the email address spc@leo.gov, and copying medical examiners Francisco Diaz and Jennifer Love, asking, “Please run the attached prints.” This document contained Ashli Babbitt’s fingerprints.

Greeenwalt forwards the request to David Chumbley, an officer of the DC Police Department. Chumbley forwards the prints on from his iPhone at 8:06 p.m. on January 6 to someone identified as Jamese Kororma within the DC government. The email sent to “Jamese Kororma” resulted in multiple Microsoft “undeliverable” messages being returned, written in what appear to be Chinese characters.

  • On January 7, 2021, Forensics photographer Matthew Brown emailed OCME colleagues regarding Babbitt’s case with “High” importance,” stating, “Due to the high-profile nature of case 21-00106, Dr. Diaz has requested limited access to this case. Please create a secure folder on the photo server for case 21-00106 and provide access only to the following OCME staff: Dr. Mitchell, Dr. Diaz, Anna Francis, Matthew Brown.”

Brown adds, “Currently there are no images or folders on the photo server for this case. The images are being held on the OCME archiving server until a secure folder is created.”

Michael Coleman, OCME’s Chief Information Officer, responded two hours later, “The requested directory has been created with the stipulated access granted. Please let me know if any additional adjustments are required.”

Brown replies, “Thank you Mike. The case photos are now available on the server.”

Responding separately to Coleman, OCME Records Manager Anna Francis says, “I have restricted the e-case file as well. For work purposes, the following groups have access, please let me know if permissions should be limited further: 1. Anna Francis; 2. MLI Investigations; 3. Medical Examiners; 4. Michael Coleman; 5. Roger Mitchell; 6. QC-n-RecMgmt; 7. Investigators.”

  • In a January 14, 2021, email from Deputy Chief Toxicologist Stephen Raso to OCME colleague Samantha Tolliver with the subject “Capital Riot Cases,” Raso states, “See attached prelim results.”
  • In a February 2, 2021, email from OCME official Andrea Pugh to medical examiner Dr. Francisco Diaz, Pugh indicated that the preliminary toxicology report on Babbitt was completed.
  • On January 13, 2021, Dr. Francisco Diaz emailed Chief Medical Examiner/Deputy Mayor Roger Mitchell with the note, “21-00106: COD-Gunshot wound to left anterior shoulder. MOD-Homicide.” Note: COD is “Cause of Death” and MOD means “Manner of Death.”
  • The OCME did not release cause and manner of Babbitt’s death untilApril 7, 2021:

Ashli Babbitt, 35 years old:

Cause of Death – Gunshot wound to the left anterior shoulder

Manner of Death – Homicide

  • In a January 8, 2021, email, Lead Forensic Investigator Rebecca Wood tells OCME officials, “I spoke with the family for the above case and her legal last name is ‘Babbitt.’ CMS has been updated to reflect this change, please update the death certificate as well.”
  • In a January 8, 2021, email sent at 3:45 p.m., OCME official Denise Lyles messages her OCME colleagues with the subject “Capitol Incident Cases,” and notes “FYI, all the cases from the Capitol Incident all Identifications have been confirmed,” adding, “Ashli Elizabeth Pamatian aka A. Babbitt – partner/husband notified.”
  • The records include identification records for “Ashli Elizabeth Pamatian,” including a copy of an FBI fingerprint submission card, a State Department visa check record “for identification purposes,” and a separate FBI fingerprint submission card that indicated that the “Official Taking Fingerprints” in the Babbitt case was “E. Betts.”

Additionally, Babbitt’s body was listed as “Unidentified female” and “WF.”

The DC government form included in the records states: “The District of Columbia Office of Chief Medical Examiner has recovered human remains and is requesting AFIS fingerprint database searches for identification purposes,” and the “transaction type” on the form indicates “Unidentified Deceased (DEU Transaction).

The comments section notes, “Please attempt to identify this unidentified female who was discovered deceased on 01/06/2021 in Washington, DC.” The form asks the response to be faxed to OCME. official Jennifer Love. An X-ray log sheet indicates that three “LODOX” images of Babbitt’s body were taken by a technician with the initials RK.

  • In an email on January 18, 2021, Deputy Chief Medical Examiner Francisco Diaz sends an attachment with Babbitt’s case file number to OCME officials Kristina Giese and Kimberly Golden stating, “Please review this homicide.”
  • In an email on March 1, 2021, OCME official Cheryle Adams messaged colleagues Beverly Fields and Dr. Francisco Diaz (copying Mayor’s office spokeswoman Olivia Dedner), advising them that she was providing an updated spreadsheet of reporters seeking information on the people who died at “the January 6, 2021, Insurrection at the Capitol.

“There is intense public interest in the shooting of Ashli Babbitt at the Capitol on January 6,” stated Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “The continued secrecy and delayed release of information about the shooting death of Ashli Babbitt are suspicious and smacks of politics. That Americans still have no information about who killed her or any police report about her death is a scandal of epic proportions.”

The Metropolitan Police Department has not yet responded to Judicial Watch’s FOIA request. This document release is part of Judicial Watch’s ongoing investigation into the January 6 disturbance.

In March, Judicial Watch filed a FOIA lawsuit against the District of Columbia for documents about the death of Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick. Pressure from this lawsuit helped lead to the disclosure that Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick died of natural causes.

Judicial Watch also filed lawsuits for U.S. Capitol Police emails and video related to the riot and for Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s communications with the Pentagon in the days after the January 6 incident.

I would add to George’s first rule my own second rule: never believe anything reported on CNN, MSNBC, NY Times, etc., etc.

And always give the benefit of the doubt to whatever is banned or purged from Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, etc., etc.

“I’m not upset that you lied to me, I’m upset that from now on I can’t believe you.” ― Friedrich Nietzsche

The pronouncements from the world’s favorite science troll, who hasn’t told the truth since March 2020 when he told the world masks were useless in stopping a virus from spreading, are coming fast and furious as more and more people ignore the fear propaganda. Alpha!!! Delta!!! and now Lambda!!! We’re all going to die unless we allow Big Pharma, with no liability for killing or maiming you with their experimental gene therapy, and totalitarian politicians to inject us with a concoction which doesn’t keep you from contracting covid or spreading covid. But it may kill you, give you a dose of blood clots, or a touch of myocarditis.

Fauci, Walensky, Biden, Pasaki and the rest of the Biden apparatchiks are liars, frauds, and fear mongering whores for Big Pharma. Fauci is the father of covid. He created it with his illegal gain of function funding, partnering with the communist government of China and is responsible for all the death and economic destruction wrought over the last eighteen months. He should be tried, convicted and executed for crimes against humanity. History should lump him with the likes of Josef Mengele and other mass murders.

He continues to lie on a daily basis and the cucks in the corporate propaganda media never question his lies or push back in any way. They are co-conspirators in this authoritarian attempt to override the Constitution and enslave you in a pharmacological techno gulag. The merger of Big Government with Big Pharma, Big Tech, Big Finance and Big Corp endangers the rights, freedoms and liberties guaranteed to citizens under the U.S. Constitution.

They are pushing the country towards inevitable violent conflict by using their powers of coercion to force people to inject a substance into their bodies they do not need and do not want. For what ultimate purpose, we do not know. But we do know it is not about your health or the health of others. The current fear narrative being peddled by Fauci and Biden is the dreaded Delta variant, previously known as the Indian variant. Did you ever wonder why they had to rename the Indian variant? The chart below is why.

The panic porn media was running non-stop horror stories about India and the bodies piling up in the streets back in May. At that time less than 4% of the Indian population had been vaxxed. Even today it is only 7% of their 1.3 billion people. The talking heads, and Fauci, all pointed to India as a humanitarian tragedy in the making – using it as their fear tactic for getting the jab. But their narrative fell apart in a matter of weeks and you no longer hear about India on the nightly news.

That’s because cases crashed by 90% in the two months from the peak in May. And guess what? It happened with no vaccine rollout. They did send tens of millions of doses of ivermectin out to the population. These FACTS do not support the approved narrative being spun by our contemptible corrupt leaders. This flu is seasonal. Cases, based on a flawed PCR test, are already highly questionable. And 40,000 cases per day in a country with four times the population of the U.S. is a non-event. India’s deaths peaked at about 4,000 per day in May and are now 500 per day, down 88% with virtually no one getting jabbed.

How could India’s deaths per million (312) be 64% lower than the U.S. (866) when they have very few vaccinated, have a vast majority of their 1.3 billion people living in squalor, and have limited medical resources for the majority. Seems like a conundrum, and now you know why our pandemia panic patrol no longer speak about India. Just like they no longer speak about Sweden, because their no lockdown, no mask mandates, and no forced vaccination policies have worked spectacularly well, while not infringing upon the rights and freedoms of their citizens. These examples are an embarrassment to the Great Reset crowd and their agenda of controlling the masses through fear and threats.

After the powers that be were forced to rename the Indian variant to the scarier foreboding Delta variant, it was time to launch a new fear marketing campaign in the UK, where Boris the Great fulfilled his Great Reset obligation to Schwab, Gates and the rest of the Davos elite by ramping up restrictions, lockdowns and vaccine passports. What a good little obedient puppet he has become.

Cases, again based upon a PCR test just pulled from the market by the FDA, began to rise in early June. By mid-July they had already peaked, just as expected from a seasonal flu. They have now fallen by 50% from the peak. I bet you haven’t heard that on any propaganda spewing mainstream fake news media outlet. Twitter and Facebook would ban these facts and declare them misleading.

A strange thing happened on the way to impending doom, as a teary eyed Walensky would say. Deaths with covid barely budged upward during this surge. When daily cases had reached 50,000 in January there were 1,200 deaths “with” covid per day. During this scary outbreak of the dreaded Delta variant, the average deaths per day has been 80, 93% below the January peak. This isn’t due to masks or lockdowns. The Delta variant is not more transmissible and it is far less deadly than the first strain. It’s the flu bro.

You would think our “trust the science” gurus would actually observe what has actually happened in both India and the UK and give a fact based assessment to the American people. The Delta is far less lethal and nothing to be frightened about. Based on the facts, the cases will peak in early September and then fall precipitously thereafter. Delta is not scary. It’s not deadly. The cases are based upon a faulty PCR test that can’t tell the difference between the common cold, seasonal flu and covid. Real health experts would be telling people to calm down and stop worrying.

The U.S. is currently averaging 100,000 cases per day, the highest since mid February. At that time 3,000 people per day were dying with covid. Currently 470 people are dying per day with covid, 84% below the mid February amount. Oh the horror!!! We already know, based on the facts, those dying are over 80 years old, morbidly obese, and/or have 5 co-morbidities. This horrific surge is nothing more than a fart in the wind. But that is not how our glorious leaders are treating this farce of a flu.

This brings us to more “trusting the science”. These vaccines were hailed as the miracle to win the war against covid. Trump said so. Fauci said so. The executives at Pfizer, Moderna and J&J said so. They declared them 96% effective in keeping you from getting covid. There would just be a minuscule number of “breakthrough” cases. It’s more like a dam break of cases. They didn’t tout these drugs as reducing the symptoms of covid.

There is no one who got the jabs who thought they would get covid after being vaxxed. Watching the cognitive dissonance being exhibited by the vaxxed is a wonder to behold. They cannot admit they were misled and bamboozled by Fauci and friends. They cannot admit they made a mistake and still don’t know the long term effects of this gene altering therapy. And this doesn’t even take in to account the 12,000 deaths, 70,000 serious injuries and 550,000 adverse reactions reported into the VAERS system from the vaccines. And these numbers are likely under-reported by a factor of at least three.

The vaccine doesn’t keep you from catching covid, spreading covid or dying from covid. It doesn’t reduce the symptoms any more than ivermectin or hydroxychloroquine. The vaxxed can also carry a heavier viral load, making them even more dangerous. The anger which should be directed at the liars and frauds who touted this “cure” is instead being directed at those who choose to let their immune system do its job. The anger is being fomented by Biden and his acolytes blaming the current “surge” on those choosing to let their natural immunity work. More lies.

And we have the proof. Israel, the most vaxxed country in the world, is experiencing a surge in cases among the vaxxed, while neighboring Palestine with virtually no one vaxxed is experiencing no surge. And now Israel is locking down again. Are the vaccines causing the Delta surge? You certainly won’t get an honest answer from Fauci & Pfizer. There are hundreds of billions in profits to be made. Just get that booster and all will be well.

The totalitarians never let a good fake crisis go to waste. This faux flu crisis is being marketed to the hilt by those pressing their agenda of medical tyranny, backed by technological surveillance and tracking, and coordinated with mega-corporations and social media censorship police. Their agenda is deeply disturbing and Orwellian in nature. The almost hysterical lies and blather being uttered by Fauci, Walensky, their fawning media acolytes, tyrant governors, and bureaucrat government drones, clearly points toward a more nefarious goal. Nothing being implemented by the Federal government, state governments, or mega-corporations is based upon science, your health, or anyone else’s health.

This full court press to forcibly vaccinate every person in America is nonsensical, unnecessary, unscientific, and un-Constitutional. This flu already had a 99.7% survival rate. And it is less lethal than the annual flu for anyone under 30 years old. The Delta variant is far less lethal than the original virus. But, those in power are compelled to ruin the livelihoods of anyone refusing to become the research in this experimental gene therapy scheme. The government is conspiring with corporations and social media companies to force these jabs into arms.

The desperate nature of the authoritarian actions being implemented by the elitists running our country and their corporate co-conspirators is foretelling a much darker truth lurking below the surface. This global Ponzi scheme we call our economic and financial system is ripping apart at the seams. The powerful and wealthy oligarchs who already control the levers of power and own most of the wealth do not want to see their heaven on earth of riches evaporate like a puddle on a hot summer day. This is why they are attempting to install a command and control “build back better” Great Reset plan where they will own everything and you will own nothing,  say nothing, do as you are told, and get your yearly booster shot for the newest variant of a phantom flu.

The globalist empire of debt is faltering under the weight of un-payable obligations and derivatives of mass destruction. How these “vaccines” play into their overall plan to retain power, control and wealth is unclear at this point, but the frantic, autocratic, and unrestrained shredding of our Constitutional rights over a flu virus should make every critical thinking American pause and ponder what comes next.

We allowed them to shut down the country, destroy small businesses, put tens of millions out of work, forced you to wear face diapers, created drastically more dependency on government handouts, drove the national debt up by $6.5 trillion in eighteen months, and essentially handed over our entire economy to Wall Street puppets at the Federal Reserve whose sole purpose is to keep enriching bankers, billionaires, and the corporatocracy.

They reduced the pressure for a brief time, but they learned how gullible and pliable the willfully ignorant masses were during round one of their authoritarian takeover. Round two looks to be more tyrannical and enforced by their police thugs, corporate backers, social media tyrants, and their zombie hordes of vaxxed Karens snitching on those not following the plan. Biden and his handlers are shitting on the Constitution on a daily basis and don’t believe the rule of law applies to them. They are allowing millions of illegal immigrants (many with covid), who somehow (Soros) have the money to fly to Mexico from their 3rd world shitholes, to pour over the border and be transported to swing state Democrat run urban paradises.

If we don’t forcefully push back now, we may never be given another chance to reverse this downward spiral of a once free nation. We are crossing our Rubicon and there will be no turning back. The decisions we make individually and as a country in the next few months will determine whether we are mice or men.

Wise men from the past knew the enemy can always be found within. We need to identify our enemy, confront them through non-compliance with their mandates, boycotting corporations supporting the regime, organizing workers to resist vaccine mandates through strikes or mass resignation,  passive resistance by throwing monkey wrenches into the gears of their financial system, and if need be exercising our 2nd Amendment rights. I am not overstating this threat, as this country is being pushed toward the brink by an enemy in plain sight.

“The enemy is within the gates; it is with our own luxury, our own folly, our own criminality that we have to contend.” – Marcus Tullius Cicero

Some priceless quotes:

When asked about the FOIA request for Fauci’s emails, Collum responded: “They were heavily redacted. One could only imagine what the redaction was. I got the feeling, reading the emails, Fauci was smart enough to know to not, himself, say anything. So Fauci didn’t say incriminating things, it was emails to Fauci that were incriminating.”

Collum also took exception with the state of the country locking down again. “This is where it just keeps getting darker,” he said. “It started out as ‘flatten the curve’ and that made total sense…at the time it seemed like the scramble was to try and understand it, which I gave credit for them. It was really garbled because everything was ‘Anti-Trump’ at the time…but where I went off the rails is that it was looking like the pandemic was starting to subside and they weren’t stopping.”

He continued: “So now what I see, what is confounding to me, which takes me down really dark places. I see panic. Panic, authoritarian levels that we vaccinate. And it’s Soviet style propaganda, it’s coercion, it’s bludgeoning.”

Lab leak theory and international coverup:

“I’d call it a crime against humanity. It’s interesting to look back now know what we know about Fauci’s communication”

“It’s not just that [the coverup]. Serious biochemists have looked at the sequencing and said ‘that does not make sense’. There’s no ethical guidelines for some of the egomaniacs in science”

Vaccines:

“It’s incoherent because they’re saying if you get vaccinated you’ll be protected and then they’re saying the people who are not vaccinated are risking the other people who are vaccinated and I’m like ‘which is it?’

“To vaccinate kids is nuts. And you know what else is psychotic? The moment where it crossed the dotted line was December 2020. The vaccine had been out for a very brief period. The CDC Tweeted, I can recite it almost verbatim, although there are no studies, there’s no reason pregnant women shouldn’t get the vaccine.

“You’re telling these women who are told don’t even drink a fucking glass of wine’ to get a god damn MRNA vaccine even though there’s no studies?

“That showed you the sociopathy of the campaign.”

Landlords, Real Estate Groups Ask Judge to Block CDC’s New Eviction Moratorium

By Isabel van Brugen August 5, 2021 Updated: August 5, 2021

A group of real estate entities on Wednesday night issued a legal challenge in a Washington district court to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) new eviction moratorium.

Landlords, real-estate companies, and property-management groups, including the Alabama Association of Realtors and its counterpart in Georgia, argued in their emergency motion that the latest eviction order (pdf) issued by the Biden administration’s CDC, exceeds the agency’s powers, according to a statement from the National Association of Realtors.

The groups requested Judge Dabney Friedrich of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia to halt the new protections, citing the U.S. Supreme Court’s recent order that the CDC could not extend the moratorium without new legislation.

The National Association of Realtors said in its statement that roughly half of all housing providers “are mom-and-pop operators” and without rental income, “they cannot pay their own bills or maintain their properties.”

The nationwide moratorium on evictions was first implemented by the CDC in September 2020 amid the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus pandemic as some tenants struggled to pay rent.

The agency announced a 60-day moratorium on Tuesday, a day after the White House said the agency lacked the authority to do so. The new eviction moratorium will last 60 days, expiring on Oct. 3.

It is intended to target “specific areas of the country” where COVID-19 cases are surging and “likely would be exacerbated by mass evictions,” the agency said, noting that this will apply to about 80 percent of U.S. counties or about 90 percent of the U.S. population.

CDC director Rochelle Walensky in a statement cited the emergence of the highly infectious Delta COVID-19 variant, which now accounts for at least 80 percent of new cases in the country, as the reason for the emergency action.

It comes as roughly 6.5 million households are behind on rental payments, according to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. There are nearly 110 million Americans living in rental households and 19 million to 23 million of them are at risk of eviction by Sept. 30, according to a study by the Aspen Financial Security Program.

In June, the moratorium was extended for a further 30 days, with officials saying it would be the final extension. That extension expired on Saturday.

The Supreme Court ruled in late June that Congress must approve any extension to the moratorium. Last month, a federal court later ruled that the CDC had exceeded its authority in halting evictions.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki on Wednesday then defended the new eviction moratorium, telling reporters that President Joe Biden “would not have supported moving forward with any action where he didn’t feel there was legal standing and legal support.”

The Biden administration didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment by The Epoch Times.

“We’re Going To The Mattresses!”

The WSJ has a nice editorial about Don “Sonny” Cuomo.

The stories about Sonny go back over the years. Anyone with a clue knew the Cuomos (Sonny or Fredo – take your pick) were corrupt creeps.

Unless you’re absolutely clueless.

Sonny burst on the scene in 2011 and took the brain-dead by storm.

Which, of course, made a distant experience of mine so hilarious then and now.

Once upon a time in a galaxy long long ago, far, far away, I had the misfortune to find myself reporting into a recently annointed sycophant for a (thankfully) short time.

This one was textbook: lacked domain professional training and competency, lightweight experience, impulsive judgment, and general lack of awareness (self-awareness and otherwise).

With so many telltale negatives and yellow lights blinking, it didn’t take much to isolate the “secret sauce” that made this “golden child” the team’s new potentate.

We soon learned the golden child was swept up by Sonny and a real fan – so much so as to expound in team meetings about “Sonny” (err, Governor Cuomo, not “Fredo” of CNN Fame) as an example of leadership we should all embrace and follow.

At first, I thought the comments were a joke – in fact, a very funny joke.

What idiot thought Sonny was anyone but a corrupt sociopath and a real threat to any woman within 100 FT?

I mean, maybe not “Joe Biden-creepy” with the “Scranton shtick”, the “squinty-eyed tough guy”, the naked swims in the indoor pool, and that groping thing (both random women and the very repulsive kid thing he has). THAT’s an entirely different kind of creep.

No, more like “Sonny creepy.” Right out there in the open without apology. Plus vindictive without regard to human cost.

More than unapologetic – proudly so.

Sonny.

As the lecture continued and knowing it’s inappropriate to engage in political advocacy in a corporate setting with rookies in the meeting, I was a bit uneasy.

Still, it was funny. Maybe I missed something in this barely afloat child.

Maybe I hadn’t given the annointed one enough credit – this praise of Sonny was really funny, notwithstanding breaching HR policy. Delivered with a straight face.

But as the praise continued, it became evident this absurd performance wasn’t deadpan delivery – it was serious. Sonny was to be our leadership role model.

Which made the joke funnier still.

Anyway, to that long-gone sycophant, wherever you may be and wherever you no doubt will end up, thank you for some unforgettable laughs.

And, in return, I dedicate the WSJ’s editorial and its differing professional opinion: https://www.wsj.com/articles/the-andrew-cuomo-standard-new-york-letitia-james-report-sexual-harassment-11628025496?mod=opinion_lead_pos2

Best of all, we know Don Sonny is “going to the mattresses”.

I’m envisioning a replay of Al Pacino as Tony Montana in the final, operatic scene from “Scarface”.

Tony Montana Quotes - MagicalQuote

As Orwell reminds us:

“We know that no one ever seizes power with the intention of relinquishing it. Power is not a means; it is an end. … The object of power is power.”

George Orwell, “1984”

Which promises continued great entertainment coming up.

I wonder whether Sonny is still the leadership icon with that annointed sycophant.

Tears in Rain, Vol I: Voices from Wuhan [updated]

Many of those who tried to warn us of COVID-19 have disappeared; their words are all that’s left. To honor them, the world must listen.

Tears in Rain – & those who sacrificed themselves to share the truth with the rest of us

In 1982’s classic science-fiction thriller Blade Runner, Harrison Ford hunts down escaped ‘Replicants’ in a future Los Angeles; replicants were AI/human cloned synthetic beings used as slave labor for off-world mining. A group of replicants revolted and fled to Earth after killing the humans overseeing their work, with the hope of experiencing ‘normal’ human life and understanding their own origins. Shortly after learning that his system was set to shut down within days, he is confronted by Ford and ultimately saves him from death, despite the carnage that led to that scene.

The brief soliloquy that followed [from Rutger Hauer, playing the replicant] is one of the most famous scenes in movie history. In it, he explains his frustrated struggle for meaning in a world that doesn’t accept his emotions as ‘real;’ the incredible experiences he’s had will die with him, as if ‘tears in rain,’ as there is no legacy through which they can be passed down to others.

The mural that greets passengers at the Temple stop of the #2 line of the Wuhan subway – the stop nearest to the Wuhan Institute of Virology

There are an incredible number of lessons to learn & analogies that can be drawn with our post-modern world, but the COVID-19 pandemic has led to one that is especially tragic – and it comes from Wuhan, the epicenter of what has now killed more than 4.2 million people.

It was in Wuhan where the extent of China’s surveillance state was brutally applied, with the same intensity as the physical lock-down measures – and yet the very nature of that brutality has meant that very few records remain of what took place in Wuhan over a 4-6 month period. It’s very easy to write-off the void as a victim of vast cultural differences, but the silence that emerged from Wuhan must be viewed within its demographic context to be fully appreciated and understood.

Even though few people in the West had ever heard of Wuhan, it would be the 3rd largest city in the US, with more than 11 million people hugging the banks of the Yangtze River. Consider what the outbreak in Wuhan would look like if we simply replaced ‘Wuhan’ with ‘Los Angeles:’

  • A deadly outbreak begins in Los Angeles on 12/1, and by 1/1/20, 174 people are sick [but authorities wait a year before releasing the full number, and 100,000 scientific articles are written based upon a figure of 44 cases for that period.
  • On 12/30, Dr. Ai Fen sends out a text message [below] warning of a possible SARS case after seeing a lab confirmation [next bullet]; an optometrist [Li Wenliang] shares that text more broadly, and is punished for that action 4 days later. Li later becomes one of the first health care workers to die from COVID-19, early on 2/7.Dr. Ai Fen’s text message from 12/30/19, showing the positive test result for a SARS-like coronavirus, as well as the patient’s CT scan of their lungs
Dr. Ai Fen’s text message from 12/30/19, showing the positive test result for a SARS-like coronavirus, as well as the patient’s CT scan of their lungs
  • Although a lab reports that a SARS-like coronavirus (CoV) has been found in early patients on 12/30, and a world-famous scientist [Zheng-Li Shi, or ‘Batwoman’] sequences the full virus genome on 1/2, officials do not confirm human-to-human transmission until 1/20.
    • Which is odd, since all known CoV’s that affect humans are respiratory viruses. Only after 1 patient infects 15 doctors/nurses does the public health office confirm the obvious. The message that warned doctors not to keep repeating the ‘rumor’ from Li Wenliang [1/2/20]
The message that warned doctors not to keep repeating the ‘rumor’ from Li Wenliang [1/2/20]
  • *The world-famous scientist doesn’t release her sequence until another lab does so on 1/11. By then, at least 5 other LA labs have come to the same conclusion. The central government, however, has already ordered the destruction of those samples.
  • LA implements a full lock-down on 1/23, almost a month after the first lab finds evidence of a CoV. 5 million people leave Los Angeles in the two weeks prior to the lock-down, infecting 6 continents [&, eventually, Antarctica too]
  • Rapidly, virtually all communication out of LA ceases; most social media posts are erased, all info questioning the origins of the pandemic cease to exist. Some large proportion of 11 million residents remains stuck in the city, bearing witness to untold numbers of people randomly collapsing [likely due to poor oxygen levels in their blood], overcome in the midst of their daily routines . One can imagine that sick people were aware of how futile going to hospitals would be, with hundreds of people filling the halls [another video]:
Coming across another body, unsure if they were unconscious or dead
A nurse gets as close as she can to her husband. The early shifts were brutal

Given that Hollywood is part of LA, it’s impossible to imagine such an information blockade here in America, even for 24 hours. All of the following snapshots from Wuhan were captured before 4.2 million people died-before COVID-19 even had a name. Yet, if not for the efforts of those who’ve ‘disappeared,’ most of the meager images I’ve placed below would also have ceased to exist – lost, like tears in rain.

Not all tears have been lost

Tears in Wuhan

Evidence without context can be easily misinterpreted [or manipulated] to fit in with expected results. China’s extensive efforts to withhold/destroy samples & erase websites/files [and often fabricate new ones] ultimately cause context to fade away – as my pic above shows. What follows is a collection of memories gleaned from sources whose original links [for the most part] were deleted by Chinese censors

A compilation of now-deleted news stories from Chinese media outlets, about conditions early in the pandemic, was created by The Nationand the list has been preserved on Google Docs [‘mainland news outlets coverage’].

The Sierra Nevada ‘MACE-PAI’ report was quickly dismissed by the Daily Beast last May, 2020 but is actually growing in credibility today. It depicts cell phone and internet usage changes in Wuhan, and especially in the area around the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

A pile of cell phones gathered from COVID-19 victims, from a hospital morgue. It’s important to note that the ‘official’ death toll in Wuhan was 3,869.

This video contains the testimony of one particular resident, who noticed on 12/31/19 that a very large number of ambulances were arriving at the nearest hospital [the PLA hospital in Wuchang, the location of the very first patients] – many of which came from Jiangxia, the district where the new BSL-4 lab had been built, even though there were closer hospitals between the lab and Wuchang [about 10 miles/16 km apart]. The unknown informant assumed that there were too many sick people to be contained at hospitals further south, which is odd as the WHO report showed less than 5 of the pre-2020 cases as from south of Wuchang:

Here is a American’s narrative of life back with her family, stuck in Wuhan after the lockdown:

Dr. Ai Fen went missing after being one of the early, consistent voices about the COVID-19 threat; from her personal experience [she ultimately reappeared, but it was her tweet that was translated into Elvish and other languages above]:

A heartbreaking video of a dr. who so exhausted himself treating patients in Wuhan in early January that he collapsed, unconscious, twice during the walk to his car:

The top photo: consoling siblings en route to picking up ashes.

The bottom photo: Overcome at the destination – a makeshift mass graveyard

And lastly, the doctors & nurses enduring the restrictions on the front lines:

I’ve now spent more than 7 months solely researching the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic; approximately half of that time has been focused on the tragedy that was erased in Wuhan. The largest single project [still in progress] involves cataloguing the details of 9-1-1-type requests, with the hope of gaining a clear picture of how the outbreak unfolded. I must be honest and admit that it has been heartbreaking to scroll endlessly through descriptions of families desperately searching for help, and often being turned away by full hospitals anyway. This is even more stunning when one considers that tens of thousands of doctors and nurses were mobilized and sent to Wuhan from all across China.

One of the longest sufferers finally leaves the hospital in the waning days of the lockdown

The brutality of the Wuhan lockdown is largely unknown to the rest of the world. Residents were ultimately restricted to their own neighborhood; most of the city’s population lives in 1 of 7,000+ such neighborhoods, and anyone who was found outside that perimeter without approval was ‘harshly’ punished. Often, barricades were set up to prevent unauthorized exits. Citizens were forced to sign death certificates that listed something other than the COVID-19 they’d watched kill their loved ones. Many were paid and/or forced to wait months to retrieve the ashes of their dead relatives, to limit the number of people who showed up at the traditional times of the month to honor the dead.

But, in the midst of scenes that almost seemed medieval, I’ve also found beautiful examples of compassion, courage and defiance. I’ve discovered heroes, martyrs and saints.

I’ve seen just how much like us the Chinese people are, and it’s that realization – far more than any other – that strengthens my resolve to keep looking for evidence and answers. When the outbreak ended, they were still as locked down in spirit by their brutal government as every other day of my lifetime.

We cannot right every wrong for them, but we can seek some measure of justice for them, and the rest of us. We have no excuse to be less resilient; as dark as the last year and a half has been, or how painful the rest of this pandemic might be, we have more light to look forward to.

We must follow the example of the unknown doctor below who, in the darkest days of a brutal lockdown enforced by a potentially complicit regime, cared enough to wheel a dying man out into the empty street, simply to give the gift of a final sunrise. He didn’t wait for the WHO or the CCP to lead by example to show compassion in the midst of tragedy.

And neither should we
